French music rarely gets the attention it deserves in the UK, but from Daft Punk to Gesaffelstein via M83 and Christine and The Queens, it's a country with a strong and distinctive music scene.
So it's a real treat to see a couple of France's key emerging acts play in Glasgow on October 29, with Saycet and St.Lô playing at the Hug and Pint.
St.Lô take a soulful approach to electro, with a line-up featuring New York vocalist Hanifah Walidah, and three musicians from the west coast of France.
Their music reflects the sounds of Paris and Brooklyn, and all points in between and beyond.
St.Lô released their debut LP Room 415 in 2014, and release an EP entitled Whatnots on 26th Oct .
Saycet meawhile are an outstanding act electonic, whose album Mirages deserves to be regarded as one of this year's best.
Fans of epic electro by the likes of M83 will find much to love. This could be your chance to see them before they're soundtracking Hollywood movies and being namedropped by A list celebs.
St.Lô and Saycet play the Hug and Pint on October 29 along with support act Acre Tarn. Tickets £5.
