Music legend Bryan Adams has announced his return to Glasgow and the UK.
Set to hit the stage of the SSE Hydro on May 5 next year with his 'Get Up Tour', the Canadian artist has timed his arrival in support of his forthcoming studio album due to be released at the end of October.
Produced by famed ELO frontman Jeff Lynne and co-written with his long-time collaborator Jim Vallance, the album Get Up features nine new songs and four acoustic versions.
This will be the singer's thirteenth studio album, with a music video for lead track 'Brand New Day' already released featuring BAFTA award-winning actress, Helena Bonham Carter and musician Theo Hutchcraft from acclaimed synth-pop duo Hurts.
Adams continues to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his critically-acclaimed album Reckless, which enjoyed a sold-out global headlining tour last year.
Adams, who worked as a dish washer as a teenager to save up for his first guitar, turned into a global star after the release of the 1984 album, with his work winning him 20 Juno Awards, 15 Grammy Award nominations, two Ivor Novello Awards for song composition and five Golden Globe Awards nominations for his songwriting for films.
Some of his most popular songs include Summer of '69, (Everything I do) I do it for you, and Heaven.
Tickets will be on-sale here online from 9am on Friday October, 9, priced from £35.
