The freshly elected batch of new MPs gathered in the House of Commons today for the State Opening of Parliament.
And although the Queen's Speech is traditionally the centrepiece of the day, it was the former First Minister who stole the limelight on Twitter.
A smiling Mr Salmond, MP for Gordon, was captured strutting his stuff on his way into the Commons on Wednesday morning, sending the internet into a minor tizz.
