  6. Delays on trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow

    Safety checks being carrioed out by Scotrail to the line at Edinburgh Park is causing disruption to journeys between Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street. Delays of up to half-an-hour are expected to continue until at least 7.30pm.

  7. An incident at Paisley Gilmour Street is causing delays on trains in Central Station

    An incident at Paisley Gilmour Street is causing delays of up to 60 minutes to trains between Port Glasgow and Kilwinning to Glasgow Central. Some of the services between these stations will be cancelled until 4pm.

    This is also disturbing train travel from Glasgow Prestwick Airport.

    #scotrail - a nationwide IT fault - so u can't buy a ticket from the machines or from staff at stations - you can buy them on the train tho

    Glasgow Subway recommends users to allow additional time for journeys. All journeys on the still operational outer line take a maximum of 24 minutes.

    Scotrail have announced that services from Glasgow to Oban have returned to normal after an early morning disruption.

    UPDATE: #Ardlui. Trains between Glasgow & Oban now running normally. Glasgow & Mallaig returning to normal. I’ll update again soon. ^CT

  13. Subway outer circle experiencing issues

    Glasgow Subway have confirmed that the outer circle is currently down and advised commuters to use the inner circle at all 15 stations. Journey times are reported to be a maximum of 24 minutes.

    Gritters will be out again this evening ahead of below freezing temperatures due to hit Glasgow over night.
